AUTHOR
W.H. Bruce
W.H. Bruce debuted in 2025, winning a Canadian Book Club award for his first anthology, Soldiers that was made up of four short-form stories, three of which were also independently released as ebooks.
W.H. Bruce grew up in the Northwest Territories, Canada. He left after highschool but the North had a lasting impact, which can be seen in his stories. After a full professional career in another field, he turned to writing professionally. He started with The Broken Chronicles, a 12-story series that falls squarely in the cosmic horror genre. However, he aspires to bring a wide-range of fiction to readers that are curious and are looking for kindred explorers. The first series will continue to be released throughout 2026 and 2027 but he has already started on two new projects. Starting later in life, he is driven to catch up with the lifetime of stories held within him.
W.H. Bruce is also a proud Canadian and wants to promote Canada's rich culture globally. Readers will find Canadiana in most of his stories. Sometimes the Canadian note is fierce and proud, other times it is only a whisper, but it is there if the reader looks for it.
